Kadtec Engineering is a Melbourne-based engineering consultancy specialising in truck, trailer and vehicle engineering, certification and compliance. We work with truck body builders, trailer manufacturers, fabricators, workshops and vehicle owners across Melbourne and Victoria.
Our services include VASS engineering and certification, truck and trailer structural assessment, VSB6 compliance, ADR compliance, towbar and drawbar engineering, tipper body certification, chassis and body modifications, 3D CAD design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). We provide practical engineering support from initial design and calculations through to inspection and final certification.
Kadtec Engineering also assists trailer manufacturers with ROVER and RVSA approvals, including Vehicle Type Approvals (VTAs), Component Type Approvals (CTAs) and supporting ADR compliance documentation for light and heavy trailers.
Our focus is on practical, buildable engineering solutions that satisfy the applicable vehicle standards while working with the manufacturer’s or fabricator’s existing design wherever possible.
